by Rachel Roy (Author)
Born into a family of immense power, Joneya always tried to avoid her destined path. When Sir Ned, a character dipped in importance and legacy, utters the four simple words 'I see you, Alder', it signifies recognition of her royal codename. She is Alder, a lineage that transcends the mere concept of royalty. Despite her lineage and inheritance, Joneya is a character grounded in reality. She harbors a preference for the real world over a royal throne, a trait that signifies her honesty and integrity. Such qualities enable her to earn the trust of every class of people and magical beings inhabiting her two worlds. Surprisingly, even a mermaid known for her murderous tendencies considers Joneya a friend. However, the impending Troubles pose a challenge that might be beyond her capabilities. Is she ready to face it, or will she falter? The kingdom holds its breath in anticipation.
