About this item

by Robert G. Thayer (Author)

Laura attempts to take her own life by crashing her father's Cessna in the wilderness. She survives the crash and is rescued by Scotty, a young man who has withdrawn from society to escape its ills. As Scotty nurses Laura's broken leg and builds a raft to return her to civilization, a romance slowly emerges. Over time, Laura struggles to rediscover her will to live-and her capacity to love.

The characters depicted on the covers are portrayed by the actors in Robert Thayer's fourth film, The Angel Within. The film offers a thoughtful exploration of teen suicide and seeks to provide hope to those who find themselves in darkness.
