About this item

by Marine St Jean (Author)

Pat, a proud butch with a boatload of trauma has had enough of everyone and everything. Except for her roommate from years ago, with whom she's still hopelessly in love. She knows it could never have worked - Pat has too many secrets. Some of which even she doesn't know, and her mother has always been evasive about those.
And one of them has reappeared, just in time to ruin her second chance.

Lisa's boyfriend is fine, but she just can't commit to forever. She's been longing to stretch her wings and leave him and this small town for years. If only her old roommate, Pat were here to help her take the leap.

When she finds Pat living alone, just out of town, old feelings reignite. But things aren't adding up when a girl with no memory appears. Bodies pile up. Old secrets spill. Memories return; ones that put Lisa in danger.

The last time Pat let herself believe that monsters deserved love, it ended in catastrophe - one that stands before her. Can she believe again to save the woman she loves and the town she hates?
