About this item
by Steve Higgs (Author), Barry Napier (Author)
Hidden in the seclusion of the Appalachian Mountains, the remote settlements are perfect targets for those who wish to prey on the weak ... the human.
Hired to investigate a mysterious bloodletting case, everything indicates Edgar is dealing with a clan of mobile vampires. He can't take the case though, his ordeal with the cult has left him close to bedridden, but that's not the case for close friend and secret crush, Poppy.
Poppy is drawn to weird stuff, so when Edgar foolishly tells her she is not to get involved, she predictably does the opposite.
But does Poppy know what she is getting into? Working undercover, all too soon she finds herself at the heart of the next attack. The stakes are higher than she anticipated, the puppet master behind it all might actually be a vampire, and now she has no way out other than to uncover the truth.
Get ready for chilling thrills in the wilderness, we are heading back to the Appalachian Mountains!
