About this item
by Shelley Cass (Author)
The terror swelled like a disease in my chest.
'What in the Gods' names ...'
Not human.
Spikes on knees, elbows, knuckles.
Talons for fingers and toes.
No mouths? No noses?
I made an animal sound of fear.
They didn't belong to this world, which had gone so silent around them.
Sorcery.
Kiana hunts the creatures that Krall's Sorcerer sends sneaking into Awyalkna. She isn't always there in time to save the Awyalknians that get in the way of those creatures first. When she saves two young men from becoming a Krall beast's meal, they convince her to join them in the biggest hunt of her life. A hunt for an end to the Sorcerer of Krall altogether.
In this fantasy adventure, readers will find friendship, light romance, fairy tale figures in an Army for the World, a quest for understanding between all people, and 'Eragon' or modern 'Lord of the Rings' vibes.
